CITIZENS ADVICE HAMPSHIRE

Let’s Work Together

The Charity for your Community

Providing Quality Advice Services across Hampshire

An exciting new charity, formed by the County’s 19 independent Citizens Advice Bureaux, was launched in September 2008, aiming to identify and develop options for improving services throughout Hampshire. Teresa Jamieson has been appointed as the Development Officer to undertake networking and develop the new Charity.

Every CAB in Hampshire gives free, independent and confidential advice on most subjects from debt, benefits, housing and employment, to law, immigration and discrimination.  We are independent and give advice in an unbiased way.  In other words:

We don't charge

We don't judge

We don't tell

CAB works for change.  It recommends improvements to local and national policy based on experience of clients' problems - more about this on our Social Policy page.

Over eighty percent of people in the CAB Service are volunteers.

CAB is committed to equal opportunities and aims to provide a service that meets the needs of all people regardless of race, gender, sexuality or disability.
